Staff responsiveness varied—some were fantastic while others seemed overwhelmed during peak hours. The nightly rates felt a bit high, given some service inconsistencies. Still, I appreciated that I could book safaris right from the hotel, which added to the convenience. I had a fantastic time overall, exploring the park and soaking in the natural surroundings.

One morning, we spotted a herd of elephants drinking from the river just outside our room. it was a scene straight out of a film.

kruger gate is an unbelievable place! we were surrounded by nature, with wild elephants even by the pool! the breakfast was really nice, and the dinner had great variety. the private safari was truly a highlight, and the resort felt personal despite its size. plus, the spa offerings were top-notch!
